God is GOOD!
I am once again overwhelmed by the GOODNESS of my Lord!! God never ceases to remind me of his goodness in my life and those around me!!
I was just in Vancouver yesterday with some friends of mine who came to visit me from Orlando and went to Stanley Park. I hadn’t been there in a few years and was once again stunned by the beauty of the ocean, mountains, trees, flowers and wildlife. I was remarking to my friends that I can’t not praise God when I see his stunning creation, that it is hard for me to understand how people see these things and still don’t see that there is a God and Creator. I was still in awe of the Lord as I drove back to Seattle early this morning, it was early and we were blessed once again with another of the Lord’s creations. We saw one of the most beautiful sunrises I have seen in a very long time - maybe because I am not up early enough :) The sky was beautiful, bright and pink with light yellow hues as it rose over the mountains making the mountains look almost purple. Again I was stunned by the beauty of our God!
The day just continued to get better and remind me of God’s goodness to us. I came home, checked my email and received some amazing news! My friends Andy & Rachel Miller and their son Tysen, have been praying, saving and seeking the Lord for the release of a baby they are adopting from Korea. Andy sent an email out to share how someone donated $15,000 to their family to bring Paxton home. I was overwhelmed with the goodness of the Lord once again! He is SO good to his children! He never ceases to amaze me in the way that he miraculously provides for us and how his heart really is for the orphans!!
