project thirty update

Thanks to everyone who took part in my project! I got tons of feedback and heard some really incredible stories of how people from all over the world reached out in to their communities to bestow kindness on another! I am blessed to have people like you in my life!

I wanted to blog about some of the things that have happened! I am still receiving emails, texts and messages about what people have done! If you took part and have yet to share please fill us in!

In Mongolia more than $20,000 was raised for a man to receive a synthetic ribcage.

Across Canada multiple families were fed & clothed, in once instance with more than $4000 raised. Soaps, candles and lotions were handed out at a Crisis Pregnancy Centre and a church. A Homeless man received a hot meal and bus fare. Shoes & clothes were given away :) A little girl in the Sudan was sponsored! A gift and a ride to the sky train was given and treats were brought for co-workers

Katrina in Australia
  • In Australia plasma was donated and over 100 icy poles (popsicles) were donated on a hot day (its summer there)!
  • In the States someone received a gift and breakfast in bed, a house was cleaned, children were babysat, extra tip money was anonymously given. In another part of the US a couple had their meal anonymously paid for. Groceries were bought. Money was donated to a University Campus and to multiple missionary families! The life of a Sea Lions life was prolonged!! A gas tank was filled! Starbucks giftcards and sticker activity books for children traveling were given out in an airport as well as hand sanitizer to flight attendants and single moms. Christmas cookies were baked for the FedEx guy. More baking was done in another part of the nation :) and a child & his mother were calmed on a train.

tap tap
  • In Haiti a lady was helped in to the Tap Tap (bus).
  • In the Bahamas two families were fed & money was donated to those in need.
  • In Taiwan a gift & a card were given to a landlord.
  • In England meal hampers and baby clothes where given out to new mums.
  • In Norway a delicious gift of chocolate was given.

Manuel in Germany
  • In Germany snow was shoveled and money was donated to fight against blood cancer.
  • In South Africa groceries were bought for some homeless people.
  • In Jamaica a woman wrongly incarcerated was ministered to.
  • In Guatemala pajamas and Christmas gifts were given out at an orphanage along with socks, underwear and toiletries.
  • In India people are ministering and preaching the gospel.

I know that there were some others that took part in other nations around the world! Again I thank you for everyone who took part, it was so exciting and encouraging to see so many of you take part and hear all that took place. I know that lives were impacted and forever changed because of these acts of kindness.

I am reminded of a quote by Mother Teresa, "Let no one ever come to you without leaving better and happier. Be the living expression of God's kindness:: kindness in your face, kindness in your eyes, kindness in your smile."

"Let no one ever come to you without leaving better and happier. Be the living expression of God's kindness:: kindness in your face, kindness in your eyes, kindness in your smile."

Thank you again and may we never forget to live in kindness, God bless you as you were a blessing to so many others.
